The
American Field -- Field Dog Stud Book Registered Dams DNA Certified 100% Pure Llewellin Setters
Tess' Pedigree
Tessie
is trained as a medium range hunter whose range can easily be shortened, depending on type of cover being hunted.
Since her experience is mostly with pheasants, I have not tried to bring her in as close as my grouse dogs. She is very
biddable, has an excellent "Wind'em" nose, strong prey drive, and classic good looks. Her
lightweight, 38 lb. frame contributes to her exceptional stamina as an all-day hunter and her graceful hunting
style. As enthusiastic and high powered as she is in the field, she is a calm, unobtrusive, affectionate
and loving pet at home. OFA ES-7713G26F-NOPI Good
Belle's Pedigree
Bonasa Brook Belle
--- whelped 4/30/08
Belle's "royal" pedigree
is shining through. She is steady pointing and holding her own birds, as well as backing others' points,
and has an amazing nose. She is on the large specification's range of a female Llewellin at 62 lbs., which is not
uncommon for a Llewellin of her strong Blizzard breeding. As the progeny of such notable Llewellins as Adam's Spur and
Blizzard's Chessie, both top and bottom, Blizzard's Rodney, Blizzard's Snow Pearl, Lynnhill's Royal Sophie and Gladstone Wind'em
(to name a few), it's no wonder she is turning out to be such an enthusiastic natural hunter. OFA ES-8266G26F-NOPI Good
Bonasa
Brook Dixie Dixie is a muscular,
mighty, easy handling, close hunting 46 lb. bird hunting machine --- She lives to hunt for the hunter. Dixie is
a grouse hunter's dream.....hunting close in the grouse timber, she points at a distance that never bumps the birds,
is steady to wing and shot, and retrieves to hand. She heels, whoas on command and responds to the whistle .... what
more could you want? Oh, she is also a sweetheart in the home. My advise, if you can get a pup from Dixie and
Chiausi Ridge Kennel's outstanding stud dog, Remus, get it. It could be the bird dog of a lifetime.
Hips OFA Pre-Lim Good *we plan a February 2012 breeding of Dixie and Remus

Bonnie was stolen from our kennel and never recovered. I hope that
whoever the misguided thief was that took her, treated her well and hunted her extensively. She was a lovable,
bird hunting dynamo for me and we still miss her.
