Tessie
is trained as a medium range hunter whose range can easily be shortened, depending on type of cover being hunted.
Since her experience is mostly with pheasants, I have not tried to bring her in as close as my grouse dogs. She is very
biddable, has an excellent "Wind'em" nose, strong prey drive, and classic good looks. Her
lightweight, 38 lb. frame contributes to her exceptional stamina as an all-day hunter and her graceful hunting
style. As enthusiastic and high powered as she is in the field, she is a calm, unobtrusive, affectionate
and loving pet at home. OFA ES-7713G26F-NOPI Good
At a year
and a half old, Belle's "royal" pedigree is shining through. She is steady pointing and holding
her own birds, as well as backing others' points, has an amazing nose, and is coming along well on her
retriever training. She is on the large specification's range of a female Llewellin at 58 lbs., which is not uncommon
for a Llewellin of her strong Blizzard breeding. As the progeny of such notable Llewellins as Adam's Spur and Blizzard's
Chessie, both top and bottom, Blizzard's Rodney, Blizzard's Snow Pearl, Lynnhill's Royal Sophie and Gladstone Wind'em (to
name a few), it's no wonder she is turning out to be such a natural hunter. OFA

The Three Amigos --- Tess at 4 1/2 years old,
Belle at 1 1/2 years, and Bo at 7 months old ---- they do everything together. Bo is not going to understand when
he will very shortly have to be seperated from his "girlfriends".
